Coast Builders is the best contractor I've worked with. Tony is the ultimate professional - knowledgeable, responsive, and responsible. His crew is top-notched. They built an ADU from the ground up. Everything was finished with high quality and on schedule. Whenever there was an issue (after all this was a construction project), Tony would assess the situation, explain the options, and tackle the the issue with urgency and attention to details. If I have another project, I'd be sure to give them a call.

Awesome!!! Tony and his crew did a spectacular job. I needed to rebuild my suspended driveway in Belmont — no easy task, especially considering the height of my house. They took it on with no problems, within budget and time. His quote was very competitive; I knew from talking with him he knew what he was doing and would not add change requests in the middle of the project. While explaining the work to his framer, he told him to use certain materials much better than called for by the plans. Throughout the process he was an absolute pleasure to work with. I have a safe and beautiful driveway. Highly recommended and will employ his services again without question.

Tony and his crew did an amazing job adding a second floor and remodeling our 2,000 sq ft house on a slope. Tony was always available and open to changes on the design, and he finished quickly and efficiently, on the timeline. We chose Coast Builders out of five other contractors because Tony properly explained the process, his fees were mid-range, and he delivered a great-quality product. His team is spectacular — professional, nice, and knowledgeable. We love our house and will always use Tony for any future jobs.

We hired Tony for a second-floor addition to our home in San Carlos. From concept through completion, Tony was amazing — attentive, caring, detail-oriented, professional and so very talented. His experience as a civil engineer and GC is unsurpassed. His crew is very respectful and hard-working. Coast Builders worked with me as I defined and redefined my design. The project began as a driveway, front entry, and retaining wall replacement, then a last-minute garage floor replacement — Tony even helped me hire extra help to empty my garage. Their dependability and reliability were important to me. They worked with me on a price that was competitive but better, without an effect on quality. All the workers were hard workers and polite guests. I especially recommend their concrete contractor.

Coast Builders just finished renovating our entire home and we could not be happier with the process and the results. Tony is the owner and is exceptional — very hands-on and available to help design and manage all the moving parts. He is much faster and better priced compared to all the other contractors we reviewed. His product was perfect — anything we didn't like he resolved without question. He even corrected things from subcontractors that we did not notice. Great attention to detail. I would highly suggest you call him before making a decision.

I hired Coast Builders to do a whole-house remodel based on a referral from a friend. They went above and beyond my expectations with the customer service they provided. The owner, Tony, kept in touch with me throughout the process and helped me with the design as well. I couldn't be happier with the results. Tony and his team are total all-stars! We did some patch-up work on our house before putting it on the market — drywall cracks, touch-up painting, replaced trims with dry rot, nailed down loose roof shingles. He sends out specialists for each job and it completely made the difference. Each step of the way, everyone on his team came in to check how we liked their work. The final job looked amazing, and he's a great guy to work with. We'll definitely be giving him a call when we're ready to remodel our new home.
